Texas Unemployment Claims Data Sees a Change of Less Than 1,000 – Unemployment Rate at 8.2%

In the unemployment and jobless claims data that was released last week Texas saw unemployment claims data change less than 1000. At the present time the state of Texas is seeing an unemployment rate around 8.2% which is actually pretty good when compared to the national average.
When attempting to analyze the unemployment jobless claims data it is very important to realize that those who have exhausted their resources are not included in this data. For those who have received 99 weeks of unemployment they can no longer claim an insurance check which means that they are not part of the unemployment claims data that is released each and every week.
When looking at the data from this perspective it may be the case that the jobs market is in not getting that much better as many Americans continue to exhaust their resources and cannot claim on insurance benefits. It will be very interesting to see how the overall economy continues to recover and if jobs are created but as of now it seems that things have been stagnant for quite some time.
