Lebron James Miami Heat Decision – Effects of Miami Florida Real Estate, Home Values and Property Values

Posted on | July 13, 2010 | Comments Off

Last Thursday Lebron James made the decision to take his skills to South Beach and join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat.  Lebron James is one of the biggest stars in the the NBA and he definitely puts fans in the seats.  With this being the case he could have a very positive effect on Miami Florida real estate, home values and property values.

With Lebron James leaving Cleveland, which is already a depressed area, it is likely that the economy of this Ohio area will see even more depression.  The opposite is highly possible for Miami.  Miami Heat season tickets were sold out immediately and many stars who live in Miami will likely spend more time in the area to watch Heat games during the winter of 2010-11.

While one man cannot change a city he can sure help.  With the possibility of an NBA championship resting on the shoulders of these big three NBA stars the economy of Miami might see a boost.  With the NBA season being in the heart of winter there also might be increases in tourism during this time of year for fans to watch King James live.
