To receive a credit score you will likely have to pay a fee which is usually between $15 and $30 to get a numerical value for your credit history. Your credit score will greatly determine the interest rate you receive on any amount of money you decide to borrow.

By checking your credit report each and every year you will know that there are no errors being reported on you. If there are errors it would be very wise to address them as soon as possible.

By having errors or inaccuracies on your credit report you could end up losing a significant amount of money in the form of higher interest rates. Make sure to address this issue as soon as possible as you do not want to be throwing money down the drain.
