Bank of America Refinance Mortgage Rates – Home Loans Settle at 4.5% for 30 Year Fixed

Posted on | June 28, 2010 | Comments Off

Bank of America refinance mortgage rates are very close to all-time lows as home loans have settled around 4.5% 30 year fixed mortgage rates on June 29, 2010. Please note that not all Americans will have the ability to lock into mortgage rates at 4.5% due to their financial history.

To lock into a refinance rate under 5% you will need a great credit score, about 740, and a significant amount of home equity. If you do not meet these requirements is going to be extremely difficult to have an opportunity to lock into mortgage interest rates near all-time low levels.

With this in mind it would be a very wise decision to check your credit score and make sure it is free of errors. The government currently offers a one free annual credit report at annualcreditreport.com. please understand that this free annual credit report does not include a free credit score.

To gain access to a credit score you will likely have to pay a fee which is usually between $15 and $30. Sometimes it is worth it to pay this extra money to get a numerical value on your credit history. If you want to find the lowest Bank of America refinance mortgage rates you will need a very high credit score.
