Save Money Any Way Possible

Today’s Lowest Mortgage Interest Rates – Fixed 30 Year and 15 Year Mortgage Loan Rates Very Close to All Time Lows

Posted on | June 23, 2010 | Comments Off

Today’s lowest mortgage interest rates are very close to all time lows as fixed 30 year and 15 year mortgage rates are well under 5% at this time in June 2010.  Please remember that not all borrowers will be able to lock in to the lowest possible mortgage interest rates due to their financial situation.

If you currently have a credit score that is below 740 and you have missed bill payments in the recent past then it is very likely that you will not be able to lock in to today’s lowest possible mortgage interest rates.  Instead you will likely get higher interest rate offers due to your bad credit.

Just because you cannot get the lowest rates available it does not mean that you will not benefit from the current low mortgage interest rate environment.  There are many mortgage calculators available online that will help you determine if you can save money by locking in to low rates.

If you plan on refinancing please remember that there are closing costs involved with the refinance process.  You will want to add these into your calculations before you decide that refinancing is the correct financial move for you.
