Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates have been extremely low for many months but we are currently seeing home loans near an all-time low. On May 26, 2010 we are currently seeing 30 year fixed mortgage rates very close to 4.5%. When looking at historical chart of mortgage rates you can clearly see this as close to all-time lows.
Over the last several weeks we have seen the European debt crisis escalate which in turn has pushed 10 year treasury rate yields lower. With treasury yields dropping 30 year fixed mortgage rates began to drop as well. Over the last few days we have seen drops to historic lows.
It will be very interesting to see how the 10 year treasury rate yield continues to react as the European debt crisis is fresh in the mind of many investors. At the 10 year treasury rate continues to move much lower than there is a very good chance that mortgage rates could drop to new all-time lows.
Wells Fargo and most mortgage lenders are currently reporting mortgage interest rates around 4.5% for a 30 year fixed mortgage. It is also the case that 15 year fixed mortgage rates are near an all-time low as they are being reported around 4%.
