Free Government Credit Score Clarification and Updates from Financial Reform Bill – Annual Credit Report Available

There has been much discussion over the free government credit score and there needs to be some clarification and updates. First things first, nothing has been signed by President Obama yet so it is all on the table. Secondly, employers do not have access to credit score but often use credit history when it comes to employment. It is very important to note that there is a free annual credit report but not a free annual credit score.
There is a great article from the Atlanta Journal Constitution located here that helps explain the amendment on the table. We would like to apologize for any false information as this has been a subject we have been trying to grasp as quickly as possible but changes are coming each and every minute.
It is also to be noted that only 31% of Americans do not know their credit score rather than the reported 65%. Once again, we would like to apologize for any information that was misleading. We will make sure to address this issue and wait until the amendment is perfectly clear to report on the issue.
