Federal Government Credit Card Debt Relief Plans and Programs Not Available at the Present Time

Posted on | May 25, 2010 | Comments Off

The idea of a federal government credit card debt relief plan or program has become very popular over the last several months as Americans continue to struggle with personal debt. It is very important to note that at the present time there is no such thing as a federal government credit card debt relief program or plan.

Over the last several months many Americans have found that it is very difficult to dig themselves out of credit card debt. Just recently Pres. Obama sign the credit card act which is helping Americans to better understand how much to pay on each particular credit card.

It is very important to note that this act will not help Americans magically erase their debt but it should help them to educate themselves on how much money they are losing by making minimum monthly payments or payments much lower than they could truly make on their current budget.

Even though there is no such thing as a federal government credit card debt relief plan or program there are many free valuable resources available on the FTC website. By accessing the FTC website you will find many articles and papers that can help you understand how to better budget your money.
