Obama Credit Card Debt Relief – Programs and Plans Not Sponsored by FTC or Government

Posted on | April 27, 2010 | Comments Off

While many Americans may be looking for an Obama credit card debt relief plan or program it is important to understand that no such programs exist that are sponsored by the FTC or federal government. Before selecting a credit card debt relief plan it would be wise to access the FTC website and determine what the best decision for your current financial situation is.

There are many free resources available online at the FTC website that can help you create a budget and understand how to get out of debt without paying any company. There are also many free articles to help you create a plan to protect yourself from wasting money on programs and plans that do not work.

Pres. Obama and his staff have worked very hard to help Americans reduce their credit card debt. In February, Pres. Obama signed the Credit CARD Act which should go a long way towards helping Americans understand how much they need to pay on their monthly credit card statements. By looking at your credit card statement you will better understand how much needs to be paid each month to have the card paid off by a specific date.
