The first time home buyer tax credit will expire on Friday, April 30th, 2010 so it will come as no surprise that many homebuilders could offer specials and deals. Some of the homebuilders that may make special offers this weekend include Lennar, KB Home, Ryland, Beazer and Standard Pacific. It is important to note that these are not the only homebuilder options but some of the bigger ones in the United States.
Before venturing out this weekend to find your first home it might be wise to do some research on what specials and deals are available in your area. By simply doing some Google searches you will likely find many homebuilders that are offers incentives to lock in to the $8000 first time home buyer tax credit.
Many first time home buyers have had the opportunity to lock in to low mortgage interest rates and save $8000 with the first time home buyer tax credit. It might be a wise decision to at least research the prospects of a new home before dismissing these very attractive opportunities.
