Obama Mortgage Refinance Plan – Mortgage Debt Assistance to Help Avoid Foreclosure
Posted on | March 29, 2010 | No Comments
The Obama mortgage refinance plan was created to help homeowners who are greatly struggling to make their mortgage payments. Just recently we learned that there was an extension to this plan as the government is forcing lenders to offer mortgage debt assistance to help avoid foreclosure.
The Making Home Affordable plan was designed to help homeowners reduce the monthly mortgage payment on their home loan. If you are currently struggling to make your monthly mortgage payment than you may want to consider research on the Making Home Affordable website.
If you have been unable to make your mortgage payment and you are facing foreclosure then you need to take every step possible to make sure that your home loan payments are made. One way to do this is to reduce the amount you are paying by refinancing or home loan modification.
If you have very little equity in your home and a bad credit score then refinancing may be out of the question. You may have to consider home loan modification which is part of the Making Home Affordable plan that was created by the Obama administration.
