Federal Government Credit Card Debt Relief Plan – Lower Debts in March and April 2010

The Federal Government credit card debt relief plan was designed to greatly help Americans solve their debt problems.  If you are looking to lower your debts in March and April of 2010 then it would be wise to educate yourself on your rights and strategies to get out of debt.


The FTC offers some very valuable information on their website.  By accessing FTC.gov you will be able to get many free resources that could get you started when it comes to resolving your debt problems.  The first issue that many Americans need to figure out is how many credit cards they have and what the interest rate is on those cards.

Once you have identified your credit cards and their interest rates you will then need a plan on how to pay these cards off.  By doing your research on the FTC website you will get some ideas on budgeting tactics and limiting your spending.  Over the next few years you might have to pass up on luxuries but that is what it takes to get out of debt.

By taking advantage of the many resources that the Federal Government has offered you could get out of credit card debt much quicker.  When assessing your problems it is very important to be honest with yourself; this is the only way you will ever truly get out of debt.
