Apply for Instant Bad Credit Credit Cards – CARD Act Educating Americans on Debt

After the recession many Americans were and currently are saddled with credit card debt. Unfortunately, some Americans think the only way to survive is to continue applying for instant bad credit credit cards. Once they have gotten into the revolving debt cycle it is very hard to get out.
If you are in this situation it would be wise to educate yourself on methods of getting out of debt. The Credit CARD Act was designed to help educate Americans on debt so make sure to check your future credit card statements. It will now be the case that credit card companies will tell you how much you need to pay each month to have the card paid off in three years.
It will also be the case that you will see how long it will take you to pay off that particular credit card if you make the minimum payments each month. Unfortunately, this could be many years and possibly even decades for those who have a very high balance on a high interest rate credit card.
The Credit CARD Act will also force credit card companies to give a 45 day notice of an interest rate increase. With this in mind, hopefully credit cardholders will adjust their spending habits and hopefully pay off that particular credit card before the interest rate adjusts.
