Apply for Instant Bad Credit Credit Cards – New Government Act Passed
Posted on | February 26, 2010 | No Comments
Many American consumers will apply for an instant bad credit credit card over the next several months. What will be very interesting is to see the way credit card companies react to the new government credit CARD act that was passed on February 22nd, 2010.
There is a very good chance that it may be harder for bad credit borrowers to qualify for a bad credit credit card. If they do qualify they may find that they have a very high interest rate because of their subpar credit score. With this being the case, will bad credit borrowers stop applying for credit cards?
Of course they will not because they have few other options. Unfortunately, the higher interest rates are likely to dig them further in debt but this will likely push them towards applying for even more credit cards. Eventually they are going to get turned down and they are going to have to dig themselves out of debt.
The credit CARD act was designed to help all consumers get out of debt just not this way. If you have bad credit it would be advisable to pay down your high interest debts before you decide that you need to borrow any more money.
