The Obama mortgage relief plan was designed to help homeowners stay in their home and avoid foreclosure. Many homeowners want to know the rules and eligibility guidelines to take advantage of the Obama mortgage relief plan. These easiest way to find out more is contact your mortgage lender or access the Making Home Affordable website.
If you have been struggling to make your mortgage payments in the recent past then you may benefit from the loan modification program. It is very important to look at your financial situation and make sure you are doing everything in your power to pay your mortgage payment. Your mortgage payment should come before all other bills.
Sadly, many Americans are paying off credit card bills before they make their mortgage payment. If you are currently doing this you need to make certain that you chance your strategy and start paying your mortgage first. If you cannot pay your mortgage you might be eligible for a loan modification in 2010.
Once again, it would be a wise decision to sit down with the Make Home Affordable website and see if you qualify for the Obama mortgage relief plan. It could go a long way towards helping you save your home and avoid foreclosure.

Another great resource I found is freeHAMPreport.com. It automatically finds out if you are eligible for the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). It is the only website that uses software to assess whether or not you qualify for HAMP. Don’t rely on untrained call centers. freeHAMPreport.com is totally commitment free and will ask you pertinent questions to make sure you qualify.
