Fixed Rate Refinance Today – Underwater Mortgage and Bad Credit Making it Hard

If you are currently paying on an underwater mortgage and you have bad credit then it is very likely that you are going to find it difficult to get it fixed refinance rate today. Many mortgage lenders are not even willing to talk to those homeowners who are underwater in their mortgage.
This is very unfortunate because many people are looking to save money as their home value drops. If you are currently in a situation you are going to have to do a significant amount of research and you, quite possibly, could be out of luck. Although many mortgage lenders are advertising low mortgage rates this does not mean that you will have the ability to lock into these rates.
There are many bad credit lenders out there that will be willing to help you in an attempt to get a loan mortgage refinance rate but please understand that they are not miracle workers. One of the things you can do is to sink a significant amount of money in your home so it is no longer underwater.
If you are significantly underwater there are very few options. By being underwater and having bad credit you can almost forget about getting a low refinance rate in the current economic environment. You will need to work to improve your financial situation.
