Apply for Instant Bad Credit Credit Cards – Need Extra Credit in February 2010?

If you need extra credit in February of 2010 then there is a good chance that you will apply for an instant bad credit credit card. Unfortunately, many Americans are finding that their credit score has dropped over the last few years which is causing them to gain bad credit status. If you are currently a bad credit borrower you may want to think twice about applying for a credit card.


At the present time there many credit card companies that are hiking their interest rates because of the struggles through the credit crisis. Many borrowers, even good credit borrowers, are seeing the interest rate on their credit cards increased to as high as 20%. If the better borrowers out there are getting an increased this high you can just imagine what a bad credit borrower would get.

Unless you are in a very strong financial position it is probably not a wise decision to take out an instant bad credit credit card in the current economic environment. If you have any bills piling up or you have missed any payments in the recent past you should consider attacking your debt problem before taking out another line of credit.

If the opposite is true and you have made very good financial decisions in the recent past then you can reward yourself with getting a credit card. Before going through the application process it would be wise to create a wish list of the wants and needs of your future credit card.
