Many borrowers are seeking a bad credit unsecured personal loan to help them pay off credit cards today. Most bad credit personal loans have an average interest rate between 12% and 18%. With an interest rate this low there’s a good chance that you could pay off high interest rate credit cards and save money. If you are not good with numbers I would not suggest you try this but those of you who are good with numbers might want to put forth the effort to save money.


With credit card companies greatly increasing the interest rate on cards now is one of the best times ever to get a low interest rate loan and pay these cards off. Many credit card holders have reported that their credit card interest rate has increased over 20% by missing just one monthly payment. Please understand that you are going to get an interest rate on your personal loan that is a direct correlation of your credit score. If you have a very bad credit score and you have missed many payments on bills and loans in the recent past and you are going to find a high interest rate on your personal. It might not be worth it to take out a personal loan if you can not get a relatively good interest rate.

One of the best things you can do before going through this process is getting a credit report and seeing what your credit score is. If your credit scores well below 650 then it probably will not be worth it for you to apply for personal loan today. The credit score this lull you are going to find the interest rate on the personal loan almost as high as that on your credit cards.

If you have a decent credit score there’s a good chance that you could end up saving a lot of money by taking out a bad credit unsecured personal loan and paying off other debts. As stated earlier, it is very important that you are good with numbers and understand just how much to pay each month on your credit cards to save money. If you are not the what numbers I would not suggest this strategy.
