How to Invest in Chick-Fil-A

Posted on | January 30, 2009 | 2 Comments

How to Invest in Chick-Fil-A is something that many Americans ponder.  Currently, Chick-Fil-A is not a publicly traded company.  Therefore, there is not a direct way to invest in the “inventor of the chicken sandwich.”  The only true way to invest directly in the Atlanta-based restaurant chain is to apply for a franchise.

An alternative to investing in Chick-Fil-A is to invest in one of their major competitors including McDonalds, Burger King, or Wendy’s.  While each has a seperate business model, they are all in the fast food restaurant service.  The PBJ is another alternative as it is an exchange traded fund that seeks investment returns on food and beverage companies.
