Mortgage Rate Predictions – January 22nd
Posted on | January 19, 2009 | 4 Comments
After being spot on with the prediction for the 30 year fixed rate mortgage last week, we are back at it. The actual report can be obtained here on Thursday afternoon. Predictions for this week are as follows:
30 Yr Fixed Rate – 5.06% – While everyone else is predicting that rates will continue to fall, we see 5% as a psychological barrier that will take awhile to break and stay below. See gold over $1000 for further analysis of this idea.
15 Yr Fixed Rate – 4.69% – We see this one increasing for the second straight week.
Return to Subprime Blogger on Thursday to see how accurate our Weekly Mortgage Rate Predictions are.

Hello,
I run the site BankVibe.com and was wondering if you would be interested in exchanging links/blogroll. I only deal with bank cd rates, savings rates and money market accounts so we wouldn’t be stepping on each others toes as far as targeted traffic goes.
Let me know either way. Thanks!
Dan
