Stumble My Digg, Prop and Mixx my Reddit and Don’t Forget to Facebook Me

My oh my how things have changed on the internet over the last five years.  Most of us can remember when AIM and ICQ were the only true ways of communicating besides email.  We can also remember when Facebook, Myspace, Tagged, Digg, Propeller, StumbleUpon, Mixx, Reddit, etc, etc, etc did not exist.  Web 2.0 has revolutionized the way we recognize news.  News is no longer what the major networks TELL us it is, but rather, it is what we WANT it to be.  Our social communities, friends and family now vote on what is interesting rather then letting the major media outlets instill on us “their” news.

You may ask what this has to do with the mortgage industry at all.  Well, the next generation of home buyers is the Web 2.0 generation.  This generation researchers and communications solely through the internet.  Mortgage lenders are going to have to adapt to this and provide quotes and costs via email rather then face to face meetings or even on their websites in real time.

Our goal at Subprime Blogger is to give you, the reader, an accurate and honest opinion of today’s mortgage and financial news.  You may not agree or even believe some of the articles on this site, but it is designed to assist you in thinking objectively about your finances.  Providing this information to as many people as possible is the ultimate goal.  The best and easiest way to reach out to internet users is through social networking.  Feel free to add us on your social network as we are active on most major Web 2.0 networks under the username jwojdylo.  Please help us to continue to reach out to as many interested home owners and future home owners of America.
