Rahm Emanuel was correct in predicting that the Middle Class would thump the Republicans and put Barack Obama into the White House. Now that Mr. Obama is the president, Rahm Emanuel will have a huge influence on the middle class as he accepted the Chief of Staff position which will begin in January 20th, 2009.
Emanuel promises middle class Americans “a tax cut they earned, health care they can afford, a pension they can keep and a college education they desire.” While I feel many should strive to be higher than middle class, most of us are part of this group at one point and I hope these promises do come true! It is a tough economy at the moment and I hope Obama and Emanuel are up to the challenge. Only time will tell.
As the economy continues to do well many people are looking to avoid any type of loans. This website helps people better understand their options but hopefully it won’t be the case that many people need this resource heading forward. It will be fun to watch the overall stock market and the economy over the next few months right before the 2012 presidential election.
