FHA Home Loan Rates November 18 – 15 Year Fixed Mortgage Rate Unchanged

FHA home loan rates for November 18th, 2009 are mixed today. The conventional 15 year fixed mortgage rate is unchanged at 4.23% while the conventional 30 year fixed mortgage rate is up to 4.68%. The conventional 5/1 ARM is also up to 3.79%. Overall these interest rates are very close to historical lows for conventional mortgage interest rates.
FHA loan rates are current very low and some lenders are actually reporting that FHA rates are lower than conventional rates. Before you make a decision to get a FHA loan it would be a very good idea to contact your lender and apply for a FHA loan and see if you can get a lower rate.
There have been reports of FHA loan rates as low as 3.5% over the past month but this is greatly dependent on your specific situation. Your credit score and financial position will greatly determine what interest rate you get on your FHA home loan. There are many lenders willing to help so get out there and see what they can offer you.
