Daily Mortgage Interest Rates for July 22 – Morning Update – Fixed 30 Year Home Loans at 4.36%
Posted on | July 22, 2010 | Comments Off
Daily mortgage interest rates for July 22, 2010 continue to show that interest rates will remain low for an extended period of time. The morning update is depicting the following for fixed mortgage interest rates on a home loan:
30 Year Fixed Mortgage Rates – 4.36%
15 Year Fixed Mortgage Rates – 3.91%
Historical charts of mortgage rates clearly show that we are heading into unchartered territories. For the last several weeks we have seen mortgage rates at very low levels but with a 30 year fixed rate under 4.35% we will likely notice that many major media outlets pick up on the fact that mortgage rates are at all time lows.
Yesterday, Ben Bernanke spoke before Congress and continues to use the statement “extended” period of time when it comes to low interest rates. Over the last several months Mr. Bernanke has used this phrase and each time it has sent the 10 year treasury rate yield much lower which, in turn, has pushed fixed mortgage interest rates lower as well. We will be back later today with an afternoon update on daily mortgage interest rates for July 22, 2010.
