Mortgage Interest Rates Today February 16 – Home Loan Rates Mixed
Posted on | February 16, 2010 | No Comments
Mortgage interest rates today, February 16th, 2010 are mixed early. The 30 year fixed mortgage rate is down to 4.78% while the 15 year fixed mortgage rate is up to 4.27%. The 5/1 ARM is down to 3.64%. Home loan rates are likely to be stable today as the 10 year treasury rate yield is little changed.
Over the next few weeks we could get a lot of signs pointing to the direction of mortgage rates. Since the beginning of 2010 the 30 year fixed mortgage rate has been in a tight range between 4.7% and 5% but that is going to eventually change but no one knows if it will be to the up side or down side.
With mortgage rates being consistently low now is the time to take action and save by refinancing or locking in to a low mortgage interest rate. There are many mortgage lenders that are marketing low mortgage rates so finding a lender should be the least of your worries. Do not let this low interest rate environment pass you by.
