Mortgage Interest Rates Today February 15 – Online Mortgage Rates Data

Posted on | February 15, 2010 | No Comments

Mortgage interest rates today, February 15th, 2010 are little changed. Online mortgage rates data shows that the 30 year fixed mortgage rate is down slightly to 4.79% while the 15 year fixed mortgage rate is also down slightly to 4.21%. The 5/1 ARM is following the trend and is down to 3.51%. All American financial markets are closed today so there is likely to be very little movement.

With mortgage interest rates being below 4.8% again now is one of the best times to consider locking in to a low mortgage rate. There are multiple mortgage lenders who are advertising low mortgage rates so it should not be difficult to find a bank of lending institution that will help you to apply for a low mortgage rate.

This week could get very interesting when it comes to mortgage rates as the 10 year yield looks to be up trending again and we are likely to get some signals as to how the economy is doing. If the economy continues to improve you can be rest assured that we are going to see higher mortgage rates in the near future.
