Mortgage Interest Rates November 25 – Rates Much Lower Today
Posted on | November 25, 2009 | No Comments
Mortgage interest rates for November 25th, 2009 are much lower today. We are slowly getting into unchartered territory as the 30 year fixed mortgage rate is at 4.56% while the 15 year fixed mortgage rate is at 4.17%. The 5/1 ARM is also down to 3.65%. The weekly all time low for the 30 year fixed mortgage rate is 4.61% and it was set back in March.
If we continue to see mortgage rates hold below this level for the rest of the week we could be hearing news of all time low mortgage rates all over the television and in the newspapers. With the 30 year fixed currently at 4.56% there is no reason that you should not consider locking in to a low mortgage interest rate today and this could be the opportunity of a lifetime.
The 10 year treasury rate yield continues to pull back all the way to its 200 day moving average which has greatly helped to push mortgage rates lower. If the 10 year yield goes through its 200 dma then there is no doubt that we are going to see mortgage rates drop to levels we have never seen in history. Next week is going to be very exciting when it comes to mortgage rates!
