The funniest search of the day is something that opened my eyes. The search “Refi Man” has brought several visitors to Subprime Blogger and I had no idea why. Well, an article one of my good friends wrote back in December, Refi Laboratory: A Common Man’s Pursuit of the Ultimate Mortgage had Refi and Man in the title, hence the reason for Subprime Blogger being number three on the Google search.

What I did not realize is that there was a website for Refi Man. I did not dive too deep into it as it seems like a short animated comic book poking fun at a mortgage broker. If any of you want to check it out and give us a review, I would be very glad to hear about it. Ultimately, I think it is just a small animated website, maybe good for a laugh.

“is America really majority Christian or is it just fake numbers”

This search got to Subprime Blogger through the way of this link Is America Really One Nation Under God? I almost forgot about this article as I wrote it way back on November the 25th just to pose some questions. Very interesting that someone would Google search that phrase though.

Yesterday, I was introducing an old friend to Subprime Blogger and explaining to him the ins and outs of how the internet provides traffic to a webpage. As we were going through the google searchs on analytics we notices the common searches for mortgage rate predictions, mortgage rates forecast, Wells Fargo mortgage rates and anything mortgage rate related in general. As we went deeper into the “long tail” keywords we saw a very unusual search – ass hole pumps.

As you can imagine, we were both a little bit amused by this. It definitely piqued my interest so I did a little bit of research. To my amazement Subprime Blogger was #1 for “ass hole pumps.” The reason Subprime Blogger is #1 for that keyword on Google is because I wrote the article Ken Lewis Pumps Up Bank of America Stock and the Steps Down? In the article I referred to Ken Lewis as an asshole, hence the reason Google has me #1 for “ass hole pumps.” I think it is great that the first website for ass hole pumps shows a huge picture of Ken Lewis.

Every single day I find some amusing keywords so I am going to share them with you in the daily column Funniest Google Search of the Day.
