Save Money Any Way Possible

Bad Credit Home Loans – Refinance in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2010

Posted on | December 28, 2009 | No Comments

There are many bad credit home loans still on the market in Las Vegas, Nevada but things could be getting better very soon.  The acceleration in home prices falling has slowed and there is a possibility that prices could stabilize.  Many Las Vegas home owners have lost quite a bit of money on their home but one way to regain some of that money is to refinance to a lower mortgage interest rate in 2010.

If you are struggling greatly to make mortgage payments and you would like to lower your monthly bill then refinancing might be an option for you.  It is very important to note that if you are underwater in your home and you have seen your credit score drop that it is going to be nearly impossible to get a low refinance rate on your home loan.

Not only will it be difficult to get a low refinance rate you are also likely to see some mortgage lenders tell you that you do not qualify at all.  This is happening all too often in the bubble markets such as Las Vegas, Phoenix and Miami.  If you do have equity in your home and you have worked hard to keep your credit score respectable you will benefit from this low interest rate environment.

If you do your research you could find mortgage interest rates as low as 5%.  Unfortunately, the 30 year fixed mortgage rate has moved from 4.5% all the way up to 5% since the beginning of January but this is still a very attractive rate to most home owners.  If you stand to save a full percentage point on your home loan rate then it would benefit you to refinance.

There are many mortgage lenders who are currently advertising low mortgage rates so do not feel that you have to stay committed to one lender.  By simply doing a few quick Google searches you are likely to find a plethora of lenders that can help you refinance your current home loan.
