On February 15th, 2010 there are going to be many Presidents Day sales that Americans can take advantage of. If you have done your research you could save a significant amount of money by catching some of these offers. Many consumers will look to get an instant approval credit card at these retailers but they amy want to think twice.
If you plan on taking out a credit card at a retail establishment then you will want to make 100% certain that you know the terms and conditions. Most retailers assign a very high interest rate to credit cards and you do not want to carry a balance on these cards if this is the case. If you can pay the credit card off every month then there should be no worries.
Unfortunately, there are many consumers who think they will pay their credit card off each and every month but it just does not seem to happen. One of the biggest issues with this is the fact that Americans do not realize how much money they have spent until it is too late. If you are going to get a high interest rate credit card you must track your spending.
It is unlikely that many retailer will give you a low interest rate on a credit card but there is a possibility. As stated earlier, it would be wise to check the terms and conditions before you sign up for any credit card. Your goal should be to get the lower interest rate possible.
