Bad Credit Credit Cards 0 APR – Options on Low Interest Rate Credit Cards

Posted on | January 28, 2010 | No Comments

If you are looking to get a bad credit credit card with 0% APR you will have to do a significant amount of research. There are not a lot of options on low interest rate credit cards when you have bad credit. The credit card industry has greatly changed over the last few years and they are no longer willing to allow bad credit borrowers to borrow money at a cheaper interest rate.

Before you decide that you are bad credit borrower it might be a good decision to purchase a credit report. By purchasing a credit report you will be able to see an exact number as to what your credit score is. If you have a credit score that is well below 650 then you would be considered a bad credit borrower.

If your credit scores between 650 and 740 you would be considered an average credit borrower and any credit score above 740 would be considered good. If you have a credit score below 740 you are going to find it difficult to get a low interest rate on a credit card. Even the best borrowers out there are finding that interest rates are moving up quickly.

Some borrowers with a credit score above 740 have reported that the interest rate on their credit card has moved above 20%. If borrowers with a high credit score are seeing high interest rates you can just imagine what bad credit borrowers are seeing. You may get a low introductory rate that this rate will not last forever.
