If you are seeking a bad credit credit card application you are probably also wondering if you can get rewards on your charge card. At the present time applying for a credit card is extremely uncertain. The credit CARD act becomes law in less than one month and credit card companies are doing their best to adjust for this legislation and continue to make a profit.
If will be very interesting to see how most credit card companies react to the credit CARD act. Many analysts feel that credit cards will no longer offer great rewards programs. We have already seen a cut in rewards from some credit card companies so it would be no surprise if this happened across the board and all credit card companies slowly did away with their rewards programs.
This does not mean that you cannot find a rewards credit card at the present time. One thing you should consider when looking for a bad credit credit card application is your credit score. If you have a credit score below 650 and you have had great difficulty making bill payments in the recent past then you could find trouble getting accepted for a new credit card.
As stated earlier, credit card companies have changed they way they run their businesses. It is not longer the case that you can apply for a credit card today and have it in the mail by next week. Unless you have a respectable credit score you are going to find it difficult to get a credit card that has an attractive interest rate and offers rewards.
