Apply for Instant Bad Credit Credit Cards – Low Rates Possible?
Posted on | December 14, 2009 | No Comments
Many borrowers will apply for bad credit credit cards throughout the end of 2009. Many of these borrowers would like to know if it is possible to get low interest rates. If you truly have bad credit than it is going to be very difficult to lock into a low interest rate on your credit card. Many credit card companies have increased the interest rate on even the best borrowers. Some of the better borrowers are finding that 15 to 20% interest rates are getting more common.
The credit card industry has found it very difficult to produce a profit so they are changing the way they are offering credit cards. It is no longer going to be the case that you can get a credit card just because you have a signature and a heartbeat. This is much different than it was in the past as we can all remember getting several credit card offers in the mail each and every week.
You have probably noticed that there are many less credit card offers in your mailbox over the last few months. If you are very good borrower you are likely to see some credit card offers are not nearly as many as you used to. If you’re a bad credit borrower you probably have seen no credit card offers over the last few months. This is not uncommon and expect it to happen in the near future as well.
One of the major things that credit card companies are doing is adding annual fees to cards. Even if you had a credit card for several years you may find that you have to pay an annual fee in the next year. Many borrowers won’t even notice this as it will just be added to a monthly payment and which they don’t do their research. You might want to check your statement each month to see if you are going to have to pay an annual fee.
If you decide that a bad credit credit card is right for you is important to do your research. You do not want to get a bad credit credit card with an extremely high interest rate and max it out before the holiday season. If you do this you will end up paying huge amounts of money in the near future and you may end up paying only interest throughout 2010.
