Unsecured Poor Credit Credit Cards – Get The Credit You Need Before Christmas
Posted on | December 2, 2009 | No Comments
Getting an unsecured poor credit credit card is something that many bad credit borrowers are looking to do in the current economic environment. With it being very hard to make ends meet financially many borrowers are looking to get extra credit before the Christmas holiday. If you are in a situation there are some options that may be available to you.
The first thing that you need to understand is that if you have bad report credit you are likely to see a high interest rate and your credit card. In fact, even some of the better borrowers are finding that high interest rates are becoming much more common on credit cards today. The credit card industry has greatly changed because of the amount of credit cards and not getting paid.
Another thing you might want to realize is that getting a 0% APR introductory period is no longer the case with credit cards. There are still offers like this out there but it is not as common as it was prior to 2007. We can all remember getting those offers in the mail almost daily and if we apply for them we were almost guaranteed to be accepted.
Today you probably see many less offers in the mail when it comes to credit cards if any. This is because the credit card industry has realized that allowing borrowers to continue to borrow more and more money will only cause them troubles in the future. Many bad credit borrowers are now refusing to pay their credit card as this unsecured debt is not an issue to them.
With this being the case you want to do a diligent amount of research before deciding which credit card is best for you. One of the most important things about a credit card is the interest rate you will get on the card. Many companies still offer a lower introductory rate but after the introductory period is over the rate jumps quite a bit possibly as much as 20%.
