Bad Credit Credit Cards 0 APR – Credit Cards Prior to Christmas
Posted on | December 2, 2009 | 1 Comment
Getting a bad credit credit card with 0% APR is something that is very difficult in the current economic environment. Many people want to get credit cards before Christmas so they can buy the Christmas gifts for their friends and family that they desire. Unfortunately, with the credit crisis now behind us, for the most part, credit card companies are making it very difficult for bad credit borrowers to gain lines of credit.
It used to be the case that you could get a credit card if you had a beating heart and signature. That is no longer the case today is you must have a relatively good credit score and you must have some type of successful credit history. If you do not have either of these you are likely going to find it is going to be very hard to get a credit card with a low interest rate.
There’s a good chance that over the last few months credit card companies have lined up a little bit on their lending practices but they are still being very strict with who they allow to have a credit card. If you have little or no credit or your credit is very bad you’re going to find it very difficult to qualify for a credit card at the current time.
There are many free resources available online to help you get a credit card. It will be a very wise decision to take several hours and possibly even several days to do your research to find out what is available for you. Make sure to read all the terms and agreements before applying for one of these credit cards as you never know, that interest-rate might jump drastically after the introductory period and this is not what you want.
If you need extra cash to get Christmas presents this holiday season and getting a credit card is an option for you. Please sit back and realize that if you buy a lot of Christmas presents on this credit card you are likely to be paying back this Christmas several months in the 2010 and possibly even into 2011. If this is not an attractive proposal to you you might want to consider cutting back on your Christmas presents.

Good read Jesse!! Glad I found it!!
I just read in the Wall Street Journal about a new board game that educates people on how to use credit and credit in general. It’s called “Charge Large”… Here the WSJ article:
