Getting a bad credit credit card with 0% APR for cyber Monday 2009 sales is next to impossible. If you apply for a credit card today it is very unlikely that you will be able to use this credit card before cyber Monday. There are some retail establishments that like to offer you an instant card for when you make your first purchase but if you plan to apply for a credit card online you are not going to get this card anytime in the near future.
If you go to the application process online or on paper you are likely to find that the credit card company will review your application and will not give you a card for at least a few weeks. The mailing system will take at least a week or two to get your home.
If you plan on getting a bad credit credit card for this holiday season please understand that if you have very bad credit and a low credit score you are likely to have a very high APR period there some credit card companies are allowing low APR for an introductory period but these are much less frequent than they were in the past.
Before you decide on getting a bad credit credit card it would be very smart to do your research and find out what the lowest interest rate you can get is. There many companies are willing to take a chance on you even though you do have bad credit but please understand that you are going to be punished for having a low credit score especially if your credit score has dropped in recent months.
Also please make sure to read the entire terms and agreements of any credit card you apply for. It seems to be the case that many credit card companies are now increasing fees and adding annual fees to credit cards. There is also an increase in the number of cards that no longer offer rewards. If you are looking for rewards that make sure to do your research and find out if your card will offer you rewards.
