Republicans Gaining in Polls for November Election – Opposing Unemployment Insurance is Working for GOP

This November is going to be very interesting when it comes to the elections. President Obama recently finished a speech in which he pushed for an emergency unemployment insurance bill. The president and Democrats have been pushing for this bill for quite some time but the Republicans have been very firm in rejecting the proposal.
In the lastest InTrade polls the GOP looks to be gaining momentum as the possibility of Republican success in the November elections is at an all time high around 60%. It seems quite clear that the message the Republicans are sending is being heard throughout the country and the polls may very well show that in the November elections.
As pointed out in a previous post, the number of searches for “unemployment extension” now exceed the number of searches for “job search.” It seems as if many hard working Americans are fed up with another extension of unemployment. If InTrade is accurate in predicting the November elections it seems as if we may be having a changing of the guard which means there will definitely be no more extensions when it comes to unemployment insurance.
