Apply for Instant Bad Credit Credit Cards – New Options in February 2010?
Posted on | February 9, 2010 | No Comments
Many consumers are wondering if there will be new options as far as credit cards in February of 2010. The credit CARD act will become legislation on February 22, 2010 which will likely change how credit card companies do business. Unfortunately, this does not mean that there are going to be new options for borrowers.
In all reality the opposite might be the case. If you are looking to apply for an instant bad credit credit card and you have not been given an offer then there is a good chance that you will not qualify. If you are considered a subprime borrower you are going to find it much more difficult to qualify for credit cards in the near future.
It used to be the case that almost anyone who applied for a credit card would qualify. Unfortunately, that will no longer be the case as credit card companies are going to make it much more difficult for subprime borrowers to gain access to low interest rate money. If you do not have a good credit score you are not going to be able to borrow money at low rates.
With this being the case you want to make certain that you have the money borrowed that you need before this act becomes law. Many credit card companies have already adjusted and are turning away applications as we speak. The best thing you can do is increase your credit score and become a good credit borrower.
