Bad credit unsecured personal bank loans or something that many borrowers will look to use this coming holiday season. Some borrowers would like to know if Community Banks can help them get a personal loan. At the present time there are many banks out there that continue to offer personal loans. The fact that these are risky lending practice has caused a few banks to stop offering personal loans.

Bank of America has stopped offering personal loans as of October 31, 2009. It is very likely that many banks will follow in the footsteps of Bank of America and stop offering these types of loans in the current economy. This does not mean that things will change in the future and they will start offering them again but at the current time turning a profit is more important than offering personal loans from banks.

Many community banks continue to offer personal loans as they have not gotten into the bad credit personal loan environment that other banks got into. With this being the case they still offer these personal loans but you may have to qualify with a decent credit score.

If you have a very bad credit scoring you are looking to get a personal loan you are going to find it very difficult to qualify. If you do qualify please understand that you are going to get a very high interest rate on this type of loan. Unfortunately, having bad credit makes it very difficult to borrow money without paying huge amounts of interest.

By doing your research online or physically going into Community Banks you should find out which bank will offer you the best deal. Many banks offer the interest rate they are providing online but please understand that this is just an estimate and the only way you’ll know your exact interest rate is to actually apply for the personal loan.
