Getting a bad credit credit card with 0% APR is something that is very difficult to do. In the past this was not the case as credit card companies were willing to let almost anyone borrow money from them. Today it is going to be very difficult to get a low interest rate credit card before black Friday for Christmas without having a great credit score.
Recently a few contributors to subprime loggerheads told us that they have received credit card offers for 0% interest for 12 months. This is very interesting as it was almost assume that these offers were no longer available to most borrowers. To be completely honest these borrowers have very good credit scores and have done a very good job of managing their money.
It might be the case that credit card companies are starting to reward the very bad credit borrowers by offering these opportunities again. If you have one of these opportunities than it might be a good idea to take it now as it might not come up again. Obviously you should not done yourself in debt but getting an opportunity of 0% APR before Christmas might be something you strongly desire.
Before making any financial decision please make sure to do your research and find out what the interest rate will be after the introductory period is over. Many of these credit cards would jack up your interest rate well above 20% knowing that you are likely to carry a balance on these cards.
Even if you are great with your money there’s a good chance you’re going to carry a balance on a credit card which means that these credit card companies will make money on you. If you get a 0% APR introductory. Please understand that it is a very good idea that you have a plan to pay this off as soon as possible. There’s nothing wrong with buying Christmas gifts with a credit card but have a plan to make these debts disappear as soon as possible.
