Home Loan Modification – Can CitiMortgage Help You Modify Your Mortgage Today?

Getting a home loan modification is something that benefits many home owners in the current economic crisis.  CitiMortgage has helped many home owners get to the trial stages of the modification process but it is unknown how many mortgages have completed the entire modification process.  Whatever that number may be it is still a good idea to research this opportunity.

The Making Home Affordable plan was created back in March of 2009 and has slowly picked up steam when it comes to getting mortgages modified.  There is very little argument that the plan started off very slow but things seem to have gotten better.  Bank of America is still trying to put the entire program in place which has caused the percentage of loans they have modified to remain low but that could change in the near future.

All mortgage lenders are encourage to participate in the Making Home Affordable Modification plan.  If you are having extreme trouble making your mortgage payment then you are encourage to contact your lender and see what options are available for you.  You could end up saving hundreds of dollars a month that could go towards other bills and debts.

    Wells Fargo, Citimortgage, Bank Of America, get your act together, and get your customer’s out of their longer than planned trial periods and complete their mortgage modifications! Guess what, the Treasury Dept is going to start publishing stats on “completed” modifications. You are all going to embarrass yourselves when they compare how many you have bragged about on the trial period the last few months to how many you have actually completed!
