Hard working people who just a couple of years ago were making payments on time are now out of work or have seen their hours cut at work or they have taken a new job at less pay. This is causing people to not be able to pay their credit cards, car loans and mortgages on time. Once you miss one payment or are late a couple of times...it's a landslide from there. Things keep up like this and in a couple of years, credit scores won't mean a thing...everyone will be at the bottom. If the bad economy and unemployment (and UNDER-employment)keep up at this rate, EVERYONE will have bad credit.
