Bad Credit Unsecured Personal Bank Loans – Can Wells Fargo Help?

Posted on | November 18, 2009 | 2 Comments

Getting a bad credit unsecured personal bank loan may be harder today than it has ever been. One company that remains active in the personal loan industry is Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo continues to offer personal loans to borrowers but please understand if you have bad credit you might not qualify for a Wells Fargo personal loan.

Bank of America recently announced that they are no longer going to offer personal loans. As of October 31, 2009 Bank of America has concluded their personal loan program. It would not be unlikely for other major banks to follow the lead of Bank of America and stop this loan process.

What I mind it might be a good idea to get out there now and it’s her personal loan. Wells Fargo continues to offer these lines of credit so do not miss this opportunity. If you have truly bad credit than you are probably going to be denied a loan. The best thing you can do is raise your credit score to be guaranteed a personal loan from Wells Fargo.

The best way to raise your credit score is to make sure to pay off your high interest debt as well as making all your payments in full and on time. By missing payments you are going to end up greatly hurting your credit score. Please understand that fixing your credit is not an overnight process and will often take several months and possibly even years.

If you do not have this amount of time to wait for the money you need then you might have to accept a high interest rate on your personal loan. It might be a good idea to shop around and find out which companies offer better rates to you but if you do have bad credit you’re going to find that most companies are offering a rate higher than 20%.

If the bad economy and unemployment (and UNDER-employment)keep up at this rate, EVERYONE will have bad credit.

Hard working people who just a couple of years ago were making payments on time are now out of work or have seen their hours cut at work or they have taken a new job at less pay. This is causing people to not be able to pay their credit cards, car loans and mortgages on time.

Once you miss one payment or are late a couple of times…it’s a landslide from there.

Things keep up like this and in a couple of years, credit scores won’t mean a thing…everyone will be at the bottom.

With the economy the way it is your right! I think its no wonder that social lending has become so popular. Many of the people who cant get bank loans are turning to Facilitating groups online to get their personal loans from online investors. It seems like a pretty good way to go!
