Bad Credit Home Loans – Refinance at Lower Mortgage Interest Rates

Posted on | October 21, 2009 | No Comments

Getting a bad credit home loan is becoming very common in the current economic environment.  Many bad credit home owners are looking to lower their monthly mortgage payment by refinancing to a lower mortgage interest rate.  Many home owners think that if they have bad credit they cannot refinance to a lower rate but that is not necessarily the truth.

With mortgage interest rates very close to historical lows, now is one of the best times in history for bad credit borrowers to refinance.  If you can lower your mortgage rate by one full percentage point then you are likely going to save money on your monthly mortgage payment.  If you cannot lower your monthly mortgage payment by one full percentage point then you are going to end up paying more in costs than you would save with the lower rate.

The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate has been around or below 5% for almost a full month.  President Obama and his administration are doing everything in their power to keep mortgage interest rates low.  Just this week we heard about another mortgage plan that was designed to help low to middle income families by and rent homes.  The plan is also expected to keep mortgage rates very low.

You are currently living in unprecedented times.  The year of 2009 is going to show the lowest average mortgage rates on record.  Mortgage rates have bounced around 5% for the entire year and have not gotten above 5.6%.  A mortgage rate of 5.6% in the past would be considered very low and it is the highest in 2009!

If you want to refinance your bad credit home loan then you are in luck.  There are many bad credit lenders out there who will be more than willing to help you out with your needs.  There is a huge need for bad credit assistance at this time so many banks and financial institutions are willing to help you by providing their services and helping you to save money on your mortgage payment.
