Peter Schiff Running for Connecticut Senate Opposite Christopher Dodd

Peter Schiff has made it public that is he is going to run for the Connecticut Senate seat that is currently held by Christopher Dodd.  Schiff has been critical of Dodd for quite some time saying that Dodd’s lack of oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac “was one of the major factors in helping to create” the housing crisis.  I personally think it would be great if Schiff could get into government and let these guys know the truth.

Schiff’s platform includes:

  • Reducing government spending
  • Cutting income taxes
  • Reducing regulation
  • Increasing transparency of the Federal Reserve

For anyone that has not followed Peter Schiff there are plenty of YouTube videos of financial analysts laughing at him when he called for the mortgage crisis in 2006.  This video located here proves how accurate this man was.  Most of his analysis has been spot on since 2006 and he would be a very valuable asset to have in Government.

There is great video located here.  If you know anyone in Connecticut please inform them of Peter Schiff and his attempt to get into the Senate.  Let’s see how many people we can get to vote for him.  Please feel free to comment below if you agree with Peter Schiff being in the Senate seat that is currently being held by Senator Dodd.  Please spread the word that Peter Schiff is needed in Government!
