Loan Modification Resources – How You Can Stay In Your Home

Posted on | July 10, 2009 | No Comments

Going through the home loan modification process is something no one wants to do.  Even if you don’t want to go through this, it may help you towards financial freedom.  If you are unable to make your mortgage payments for whatever reason, going into foreclosure will ruin your financial life for quite some time.  I often tell my friends and family that they need to do anything they can to stay out of foreclosure.  You have no idea how hard life is when you have access to absolutely NO credit.

With that being said, President Obama wants to keep you in your home.  He knows that foreclosures really help no one so it is a detriment to the economy.  He feels so deeply about keeping you in your home that he created a government program solely to help this happen: Making Home Affordable.  I would like to provide you with seven great home loan modification resources.

1. Making Home Affordable

2. HUD Loan Modification FAQs

3. Do-it-Yourself Loan Modification

4. Home Affordable Modification Eligibility

5. Federal Loan Modification Bureau

6. Better Business Bureau

7. Who Qualifies for a Loan Modification

This is a very limited list, but I think it is the best of the best.  If you have any other resources that would help anyone with a loan modification, please comment below.
