President Obama, Please Take Note

Please use Subprime Blogger to get your information on the Obama Refinance Plan.  President Obama wants to keep you in your home so take advantage of this opportunity.

President Obama, I would first like to congratulate you on your victory and wish you luck as the 44th president of the United States of America.  I know you are extremely busy at this time, but I would like to jot down a few notes for you to look over.

1. Your success will be a direct correlation to those who you surround yourself with.  Please realize that many of the great leaders in history have stated that they themselves did not have the great ideas nor could them implement them.  The leaders found the right people and put them in the right places.  Being able to analyze talent at any level is an essential part of being a great leader.  Please do not promote or appoint an individual solely because “he or she is the first (blank) to ever get a chance to hold this position.”  Please appoint based on the individuals ability to perform the job rather than on their race, religion, sexual preference or gender.

2. Find a way to stop Ben Bernanke from printing United States dollars.  I am not an economist, nor will I ever claim to be, but the first thing I learned in Economics 205 in college was the law of supply and demand.  The greater amount that is provided of a good or service causes that good or service to be demanded less, therefore the price declines.  If we continue to print US dollars and going deeper and deeper in debt, it is only logical that the United States dollar will continue to decline.

3. The United States of America is a country that was built by FIGHTING for our freedom.  In the late 1700′s, our founding fathers did not sit around for five years and negotiate with England to break free and become an independent nation; we FOUGHT for it.  In the 1860′s when the country was split on several major issues, our leaders did not sit and “talk it out,” we FOUGHT for the rights that we desired.  In the early 1900′s, when the world was at war, we attempted to sit it out, but once again, we continued to FIGHT for our freedoms as Americans.  Most recently, in the only wars that you and I have lived through, we have FOUGHT to protect our citizens from potential attacks on American soil.  While many Americans feel this war is a waste, one thing that will hold true is that our enemies FEAR us.  If you would have asked 100 Americans after September 11th, 2001 if there was going to be a major attack on American soil in the coming years, I would venture to guess that over 50 of them would have said yes; I know I would have.  Luckily, sticking up for ourselves and FIGHTING for our freedom has not only alleviated this fear, it has made it almost non-existent.  Please realize these facts when you decide to “relieve” us of this war.

4. You cannot be everything to everyone.  I know your whole campaign was based on “Change” and making life better for the common man, but please realize you can never make everyone happy.  Please relate to point #1 and let your knowledgable friends and political staff use their abilities in assisting this country.  I personally think you are set up to fail as a president because over one third of the nations invested wealth has disappeared over the last year.  It is impossible to illustrate how important this is.  With stock market psychology so negative, it is going to be extremely difficult to get money reinvested into our economy; even with YOUR economic plan.  President Obama, please prove me wrong and become something special for this country.

President Obama, thank you for your time and I wish you well in your first few months in office.  I will follow up PRN.

Generally good advice for any politician. One of the things that struck me about Obama’s acceptance speech last night is that he didn’t mince words. He talked of a long recovery — and he talked of the need for Americans to pull together and help. He spoke with a unifying voice, and one that calls all of us — himself included — to be accountable for the success of our nation.

@Subprime – Great piece, these are sentiments felt by far more people than voted for the President-elect. He didn’t get my vote, but he has my full support.

@Miranda – “We have one country, one Constitution and one future that binds us. And when we come together and work together, there is no limit to the greatness of America.” – President George Bush, 2004 Victory Speech (Think anyone on the Left helped him much? There is no division like that which comes from the Left… Time will tell, but let us hope the next President is as bi-partisan as he says and not as blatantly partisan as his record.)

    Wow. I love this.

It’s a nice dose of reality, which I feel is really needed at this time when many of our fellow Americans are flying high on their fanatical “hope for change” campaign.

I think it’s healthy to be optimistic about a new president, but jeez… how can people put so much faith in someone who hasn’t even begun to make good on his promises? The weird “Obama bling” that I’m seeing everywhere kind of makes me think of Beatlemania! People should keep their heads about them, and if they really want change, show support for our new president but GET INVOLVED in their own small way, within their commmunities, within their families, and for themselves.

Subprime Blogger, I know you’re going for keyword love here, but remember that giving your blog a personality is the first step in achieving blogger fame and future business!
